Flowquip offers various liquid flow meters for conductive and non-conductive liquids.
Coriolis Flowmeters: These are perfect for solvents, fuels, vegetable oils, and liquid gas. They are highly accurate and versatile, measuring volumetric flows (like liters per minute or cubic meters per hour). Users often choose Coriolis meters for volumetric measurements, especially when dealing with non-conductive liquids that can't use electromagnetic flowmeters. For example, tankers are filled volumetrically to prevent overfilling and spills, and then weighed to find the actual mass.
Mag Flowmeters (Electromagnetic meters): These meters don't obstruct flow, making them ideal for slurries, paper pulp, effluent, and other conductive liquids with solids. Since they don't restrict flow, they don't increase system pressure, which is beneficial for gravity-fed and low-pressure applications.
Ultrasonic (Clamp-on) Flow Meters: These are used for measuring liquid flow in full pipes and clean liquids like water, wastewater, oils, solvents, acids, hydrocarbons, and chemicals. They are great for HVAC systems monitoring and control, especially when flow disruption is not an option.
